Its all about BEST and REST…!

Happy Independence Day…..by saying this once can display his patriotism. This is what happening today. I better wanted to call this day as social awareness day or social service day or Activism Day. Because lots of blood donation camps. medical camps, orphanage visits etc., are arranged today almost all the orphanages would be crowded with the good hearted persons…!

The happy thing is atleast in this day most ones get some awareness that they should atleast look back at the society. The good thing is that this kind of activities will change atleast few minds to contribute more to the society.

And coming to the point…this time I can say that this day is IN-DEPENDENT day . Because more basic things are still restricted in one way or other due these worse politicians.

Happy IN-DEPENDENCE day...!

Happy IN-DEPENDENCE day...!

Lack of quality in education in govt schools, restriction of higher studies due to family economy, less investment in Research and development in all the fields, going backwards in agriculture, increase in deaths due to droughts, no safe country for girls after 9.00 pm, no safe (good) roads to drive, no freedom to enjoy 24 hrs electricity, no control in increase in daily usable, increasing orphanages, etc., The list will continue. All the above said getting worse year by year. This is not a good sign of celebrating the 60 plus years of independence.

There are more things to be mentioned as improvement. I always look at the other side….because we need more improvement. People took activism os a one day can speak about best in the country. People took activism as a second profession can speak about the rest in the country, simply the real face of the country. So I come in second category.

And finally this day really good because of the vijay TV programs. Starting from Sivakumar’s tamil related program , neeya naana, yethu sudanthiram etc., this day was full of entertainments. Usually i take off from activism on this day. 🙂

Will you be Remembered ?

Got to read an article about the speech given by  Dr.Kalam  to 2007 batch IAS trainees at Mussoorie. Here goes the direct points from him…..

  • I visualize a scene “What the IAS officers of 2007 batch will be remembered for?” Will you be remembered for a visionary action for the nation?
  • Will you be remembered for revitalizing or revolutionizing in your district, the integrated Primary Health care  Centre as a Public-private-partnership?
  • Will you be remembered for working and creating a scheme in partnership with agriculture research institutes, extension workers and farmers for doubling output of food-grains in your district and thereby increasing the per capita income of each of the farmers?
  • Will you be remembered for ensuring that dropout from schools in your district reaches virtually to zero through your innovative actions?
  • Will you be remembered for making your district a fossil fuel free district? That means, villages in your district will transformed into bio-wind-solar villages.
  • Will you be remembered for establishing number of PURA complexes (Providing Urban Amenities in Rural Areas) in your district? This will provide physical, electronic and knowledge connectivity leading to economic connectivity that is enhanced earning capacity of the rural citizens.

A perfect and meaning full content I have read in recent times. I wish every IAS officers should be remembered at-least for one of the above said points.

Sand language reached many hearts …!

09 th may 09 (Saturday) me along with my friends from a leading Multimedia training company(IMAGE Infotainment ltd.,) were  involved in a awareness campaign on voting. We created few sand sculptures in the Elliot’s Beach (Besant Nagar, Chennai) to create awareness among the public for voting in the final phase of election.

For all of us this was the experience to build a sculpture in sand and it was really a awful experience to build there. It was a bit hard one to make but interesting and every one enjoyed a lot. Even though the climate was around 38 degree on that day…it hadn’t disturbed us because of the involvement . We started at 5.30 am in the morning  and finished at 12.30 pm noon.

Evening I went there at around 5.45 pm and the response was really great and lots of interesting comments from public. Hope the sand would have spoken few words to them and we will be happy at least these sculptures change few minds to vote this time.

Rebuild our nation with votes

Rebuild our nation with votes

Few of the interesting comments are,

1. you say please vote..but for whom ?

2. Are you working for Election commission.

3. that Swastika symbol belongs to which political party ?

4. Still election is going on ?

5. You ppl belong to which party ?

6. are you peoples from fine arts college ?

7. Hats off to you guys for this wonderful job…!

8. Every thing is okay, but we have to rethink on the voting system.

9. What does the symbol represents ?

10. Sure We will vote this time …!

11. I will ask my friends and neighbors to vote ?

12. Good work by these guys but useless and its waste of time on voting.

For first time voters

For first time voters

But on an average , almost everyone on the beach came near this sculptures and had a look at it and commented and also took photos with mobile cams etc., It was nice been there by hearing all the comments and reactions. Really a gr8 day and beautiful day in  my life. I thank Mr. Sri Balaji (my visual design guru) for given me a chance to be a part of this.

Wish at least the final phase of election should register above 75 to 85 % of votes. To change the fate of the nation…please vote without hate. Election date is May 13th 2009 (wednesday).

Lets make democracy work for us

Lets make democracy work for us

Hope this year more votes will be recorded by the educated peoples because of the online campaign and awarness created on voting. And also due to the tremendous efforts took by various NGO’s and Infotainment companies (Jaagore, Lead India of TOI, etc.,). Todays youngsters got more medias to get large details on the candidate and their history. So they can analyse the performance of the candidae and vote. If this was done …India will be in the positive side after this elections.

As a resposnoble Indian citezen we should register our vote for the right candidate or atleast go for 49-O (not willing to vote) option. Especially the young professionals should do it. Voting is one of the biggest social responsibility and by doing it every one become a part of the democracy. Lets vote to quote India in good phrases.

One this just need to say….nothing big you have to do to India…vote atleast.

Vijay TV at its best…!

Happy Malayalam new year (Vishu Aasamshagal).Just spent this awful day with Vijay TV special programs. Really I enjoyed all the programs.Especially the special talk show (neeya naana) by Gopinath and the Epics related program by actor SivaKumar on Ramayanam (Kamban Yen Kaadalan).

Kathakali - An art of colours

Kathakali - An art of colours

Especially i wanted to tell some thing about the show related to the Ramayana. Sivakumar took 100 songs from that and he explained the whole ramayana  in easily understandable way. He narrated all the songs with explanation continuously for 2.30 hours. Really it was interesting and i haven’t moved a bit for the whole program.Nice to hear his crispy explanations based on this generation.Hats off to Sivakumar..a multitalented artist.

Usually I like the Vijay TV programmes and I love to watch few programmes. My favorite programmes are Super Singer, Neeya Naana by Gopi nath, Tamiz peachu Yengal moochu, Lollu sabha etc., I never wanted to miss these programmes. I love Vijay TV for whatever it is….!

Dance of Democracy

15th Lok sabha Election ..would be a battle between BJP and Congress, Manmohan (Sonia) and L.K.Advani.With the two biggest parties of India, the so called third front is also in the battle ..but as per the pre-poll surveys ….they won’t create a bug impact in this elections.

As every one states India has faced the worst economic slowdown in these five years. It’s not only because of inefficiency and also due to the universal slow down. In the mean time we have to accept the fact that..we are not worst hit with this slow down when compared to other countries. But with the world’s best economists as a Prime minister and another best economist as a Finance minister we would have been more better. But nothing happened…! I feel congress has equal positive and negatives with these five years.

Dance of Democracy...!

Dance of Democracy...!

BJP has more chances to be in the seat of PM but….bit afraid of their hindutuva policy. More afraid of the dominance of the VHP , shiv sena, ram sena etc., on the public. Their moral policing will be a dangerous thing for public. Their stand on Ram temple makes me to think twice about the consequences. Already we have a black day Dec 06..we may get more black days like this. But India will get benefited by their anti terrorism policy and POTA act.

Both parties have their own positives and negatives. But India is in need of a positive change. Wish the battle should be for the well being of India and not for the revenge or cheap politics and not for the PM Seat. Lets analyze with the parties and the candidates in our constituency and vote for them.Check the link for the performance analysis of individual MP’s of all states.

Lets vote for a change..demand your vote and lets put India in a growth face.

ps:- I do not belong to any political party and afterall these are my views and perceptions.

It’s India’s turn now…!

Seems to be the Golden period for Indian cricket team. Historical victories and numerous records..really hats off to Indian cricket team. Dhoni’s men were glittering all over the world and in all the situations. With the worlds best batting line up and best players India can do wonders in the coming years.

Happy to see Sachin’s shots and viru’s demolishing hits. Happy watching cricket….and feel pity for Oz in the current series. Hope the wall (Dravid) should be back in form in this serious.
