Earlier, Now and Forever; Happy Watching Movies!

I’m a movie buff. My Love and interest for watching movies is not getting reduced as years pass by. In the recent times, I’m have become a fan of Malayalam Film industry (both off-screen and on-screen ). I just simply wonder at their simple and easy way of story telling and screenplay which is almost closer to reality and brilliant performances of the actors. Most films have a touch of their soil and surely will make any Malayalee to miss his hometown. And I have to mention about the friendliness between the artists. I’m not sure about the old Malayalam movies, I’m talking about the recent time Malayalam movies.

Mamookka, Lal Ettan, Dulquar, Nivin, Biju Menon, Kunjakogopan, Prithvi Raj, Jayaram, Fahad, Kalapavan Mani, Nithya Menon, Parvathi Menon, Nazriya Nizam etc., are my favorites.  Good to see that few of Malayalam movies hit the Box Office in Chennai in the recent times. Premam, Yennum Yepozhum, Dhrishyam, 1982, Baskar the Rascal, Shutter, Salt and Pepper, Dady Cool, Mili, Bangalore Days, Om Shanthi Osaana and Ustad Hotel are few of the recent movies I watched. I liked all the movies.

I never intend to compare Tamil and Malayalam industry. As I know both the industries has their own style of making, different cultures, a different way of working and different kind of audiences.  Giving importance to the story line, close to reality screenplay, nativity dialogues, beautiful ladies, language and slang, mesmerizing music, greeneries all over the movies are the key features of the success of Malayalam industry.
Anyways whatever may be the language, good to see good films. I get a lot of inspiration and motivation from Movies; Earlier, Now and Forever. Happy watching Movies.

Vijay TV at its best…!

Happy Malayalam new year (Vishu Aasamshagal).Just spent this awful day with Vijay TV special programs. Really I enjoyed all the programs.Especially the special talk show (neeya naana) by Gopinath and the Epics related program by actor SivaKumar on Ramayanam (Kamban Yen Kaadalan).

Especially i wanted to tell some thing about the show related to the Ramayana. Sivakumar took 100 songs from that and he explained the whole ramayana  in easily understandable way. He narrated all the songs with explanation continuously for 2.30 hours. Really it was interesting and i haven’t moved a bit for the whole program.Nice to hear his crispy explanations based on this generation.Hats off to Sivakumar..a multitalented artist.

Usually I like the Vijay TV programmes and I love to watch few programmes. My favorite programmes are Super Singer, Neeya Naana by Gopi nath, Tamiz peachu Yengal moochu, Lollu sabha etc., I never wanted to miss these programmes. I love Vijay TV for whatever it is….!

Is Kerala – GOD’s own country ?

hmm…if the GOD’s country is mean to be filled with back waters and green trees (coconut trees) ..then it’s true that Kerala is God’s own country.

Just today morning we came back to chennai from kerela. The tour was over. We had good (better/normal) time over there. The tour was not as good as we expected , because of the improper planning. Anyways we managed to have some good time. Kochi , Trivandram, Allapey and Vega land. We stayed 2 days in Kochi.

The interesting things are the waters , back waters , small bridges , plenty of coconut trees , Auto charges, cleanliness, less crowd, tea (taste and quantity), rain, cute and most beautiful small railway stations ( village stations).

The worst things are laziness, non smiling faces, small roads, their business (trade) timings, water(good to health but still…!), all dubbed movies, local buses, slow drivings, non veg = beef.

When compared with all the above good things , the worst things are tolerable except few. Good to visit Kerala – The God’s own Country.

It’s impossible to judge culture and people of one place with another in three days. But still I wish to say some thing in my perception …!

to be continued ……..
