Dreams of a village gal …!

Poo – my views

Yesterday got to watch a Tamil movie called “Poo” (Flower). The movie Poo story is based on a short novel ‘Veyilodu Poi’ by Tamilselvan. The movie was directed by Sasi, and he has done a flawless adaption of the story “Veyilodu Poi”. A 100% village centric movie with the real touch of the peoples and environment.

Srikanth has done the lead role and the malayalam actress Parvathy has done the female lead. A story based on the character “mari”. The story completely revolves around the character, her feelings, her expressions etc., There is nothing new in the story, but the way it was portrayed and the way it was expressed matters. Stupendous performance from Parvathy. This will be a life time movie for any female actress, Parvathy got the luck but she deserves.

Movie displays the dreams, simplicity, sacrifices and the real love of a village girl. Hope after a long time a women centric movie in kolywood and which gives a lots of scope for acting. Hats off to Sasi for selecting this script and for his excellence in direction. “Chu chu mari” song steals every ones hearts. Overall its a nice moview for those who loves to watch all kind of movies.

ps:- Its after all my view about this movie and views can vary with individuals.

The game was over …!

It’s all over for the Bengal tiger with the Indian Cricket team. Saurav Ganguly , the most aggressive and successful captain of Indian Cricket team, announced his retirement and his last day of cricket was today. The man who shown a different look to the Indian team in the overseas grounds. As he mentioned earlier, he left with a winning note.

As a great fan of Saurav , I always admire his aggression and the leadership quality in him. As one of the best left handed batsmen of Indian cricked team, he contrinuted much more than other players. He has numerous records both in batting and as a captain. It’s one of the sad day for kolkatta cricket lovers and for the fans of ganguly. And as sachin said , it’s not the day to worry about the retirement , its a day to appreiate the legendry crickter for his contributions made to cricket.

Every player will have a bad n good times in their career. As such ganguly faced lots of hurdles for the past three years. Despite of his best recovery in form and proven batting , he was not respected. Thanks for Srikanth for selecting him for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, and its good on ganguly to announce his retirement. Since he wanted to end his carieer in a positive note. Thanks for M.S.Dhoni for handed over the captancy to Ganguly for last few overs and made to him to leave as a captain. He deserves it.

Tiger’s Story in numbers

Apart from all the controversies on him, we Love Ganguly for what he is. BCCI, India/world cricket fans will remember his contributions to cricket. Hats Off Saurav n sorry for the things happened…! We miss you a lot !
